The Mutya sa Dipolog also opens an opportunity for the young ladies to develop a lasting friendship and also a down-to-earth real sisterhood relationship.

By doing a one-on-one interview held last Thursday, May 13, 2005, at exactly 10:00 in the morning at the magnificent Adasa Beach Resort, we are able to know better each of the lovely candidates of this year’s search. Such wonderful stories filled the air as the candidate’s each told their respective experiences they have been through and most of all, for the benefit of their admirers; they gave us more information on what type of man they are looking for. Their confidence and wit were also measured by letting them answer different questions about their interests and giving them an opportunity to share their thoughts about certain social issues.

With the help of some professional make-up artists, Victor Daguinotas and Cristopher Iman, their looks were even more enhanced and thus displaying a more superb beauty for all of us to behold.

Eight of the eleven candidates were interviewed; the remaining three will be interviewed later because of some conflict of schedules. But despite of some the tremendous circumstances that day (that includes the unpredictable weather) fun and great bonding among the candidates and staff of the Daily Dipolognon can be clearly seen. We also noticed that aside from the prestige and fame, the Mutya sa Dipolog offers more that what meets the eye, it also opens a door of opportunity for the young ladies to develop a lasting friendship and a down-to-earth real sisterhood relationship.

To relieve the tension from the interview, a sumptuous dinner buffet was prepared by The Daily Dipolognon. Photo shows the candidates taking the first bite of the lechon de leche.

To relieve the tension from the interview, sumptuous foods were served and of course, the day would not be complete without some marvelous poses from the candidates themselves. Each contestant posed wonderfully in front of the camera and each of their smiles reflects the pride they truly have deep in their hearts. Being with them, you can justify that a thing of beauty is truly a joy forever. With the help of some professional make-up artists, Victor Daguinotas and Cristopher Iman, their looks were even more enhanced and thus displaying a more superb beauty for all of us to behold.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Adaza joins in and enjoys the delicious buffet.

From one beautiful spot to another, at about 1:00 o’ clock in the afternoon, the candidates along with the Mutya sa Dipolog committee went to Alexandra by the Sea located along the Dapitan City Sunset Boulevard, to find a perfect area to have their evening gown pictorial. The chosen venue place was quite spacious and very elegant that blends perfectly with the attire of the candidates.

Rhea Y. Napiñas, candidate number 1, confidently took a pose in her floral two piece swimsuit that fits with her personality as a cheerful and outgoing young lady. Her long black hair, sweet smile and great posture serve as Rhea’s great assets. While in her evening gown, Rhea still managed herself well. Her smile and grace never fade despite of so much tension and tiredness that she felt.

Irish T. Lucrecia, candidate number 2, is a very attractive lady and seems mysterious the way she handles herself in her swimwear. She walks and poses in her own artistic way. Her face, her smile and her fair skin can launch a thousand ships. Irish’s royal blue gown made her look simple yet very appealing lady. For her, what matters most is who wears the gown, not just the gown alone.

Anne Romero, candidate number 4, is a perfect example of a pretty and charming lady. Wearing her one piece black Speedo swimsuit, Anne equally compete the other candidates by her own little way. During the evening gown pictorial, Anne’s wearing a very simple navy blue gown that made her looks very demure, yet her simplicity is what most of the people admire from her.

Mary Kris D. Grado, candidate number 5, looks very confident in her swimwear. Kring-kring’s good posture and lovable face are her best features. She knows how to properly use her eyes and shoulders whenever she took a pose. In her evening gown, she looks very pretty, quite a princess. Despite of the tiredness she felt, during the evening gown pictorial, her beauty and charm did not fade.

Helen Louis Aznar, candidate number6, definitely looks gorgeous in her floral top two-piece. Her white complexion glitters as the white sand and dried corals along the beach reflect into her skin. She handles herself well and that shows her great potential to be a swimsuit model. While in her sky blue gown, she became more “tisay” and looks simple in her hair and make-up.

Ruby Luy Nesnia, candidate number 7, is the apple of the eye to some of the audience during the swimsuit pictorial. She definitely looks fascinating in her swimwear that truly emphasized her great body and skin tone. While in her evening gown, she wears a turquoise colored gown with a printed top. Her hair and accessories made her look like a fashion magazine model.

Grelie Mah, candidate number 8, is wearing a deep red one-piece swimsuit. She walks and carries herself professionally. She’s one of the contestants who projects perfectly. Edai looks elegant in her long maroon gown. Her gown is quite impressive, not the usual style of gown.

Sheila C. Jaralve, candidate number 9, is one of the crowds’ favorite in their swimsuit pictorial. She’s really looks great when she projects, seems like she puts her heart in whatever she’ll do.

While in her evening gown, she transformed into a sophisticated woman with confidence and charm.

Rosenel L. Francisco, candidate number 10, is truly a blessed woman. She looks very sexy in her black knitted two-piece swimsuit. She carries herself well that would make everyone lay their eyes on her. Wearing her golden colored gown that matches with her complexion perfectly, Rose looks very pretty.

Janalei Usman Laput, candidate number 11, looks simple yet exquisite in her red two-piece swimsuit. Jaja has a charisma that no one else could do. In her evening gown, she bears the smile and charm that goes with her beautiful gown. Jaja captured the attention of the many not only through her gown or swimsuit but through her personality.

Cheryl Lim, is the last but not the least Mutya candidate. She is a very conservative type lady that reflects even through her swimwear during the beach pictorial. She’s definitely pretty and a very polite young lady, that shows on the way she projects and talk to the people. She’s noticeably demure in her evening gown. Cheryl did not show skin in her evening gown, but despite of her simplicity, true beauty reveals.
